WHY?

There are many, many reasons why. But let’s keep it essential. We are local foodies who are proud of Belgrade’s vibrant culinary scene (we like to show off in this regard). Also, we don’t believe in majority of top lists created by international media/internet outlets that rarely ever invest hours and hours figuring out the best food around town (and we do, constantly). And, you know, we simply trust our tongues, noses and eyes (and we keep ’em focused, sharp and sincere, at all times). For us, the food represents a universal, cultural language that everyone understands – we just have our gastro dictionaries fine tuned to both your needs and to local standards. One more thing, we love spending time with like-minded folks (such as yourselves)!

WHERE?

Good food in the Balkans is a given and Belgrade is no exception to this rule. However, there is good food and then there is SERIOUSLY great food. We like the latter better, and we think you do too (there is bad food as well, but we keep it permanently off the menu). So – our policy is simple: no paid reviews, no touristy places that keep the quantity but not the quality and not a single place where we don’t usually spend our own money on great bites. Sounds fair? We think so too. Some of the restaurants are very trendy, some are fine dining while others are hidden gems that not even all the locals know about. But we do, so you are covered! Word of caution: it is addictive and you will want to come back, do more, try more!

WHEN?

Practically, whenever you are really hungry and around town (i.e. in Belgrade). Good food can and should be enjoyed throughout the day – if your schedule allows for it, we suggest lunch-to-dinner options (which means we start around 14h and finish the tour around 19h). But we can also start earlier or later – it really depends on your schedule. One thing for sure, you will not want to be rushed once you starting tasting the bites we carefully selected for your enjoyment. Booking in advance is great, as tasting menus take time to prepare – just like special bites (if you are vegetarian, have a food allergy or a strong dislike for something in particular) – but even with a few days notice we can keep you properly fed and utterly happy!  

HOW?
